I was always fascinated with photography. I amazes me that such a simple operation like pressing a button could stop time. It amazes me that through photography I can get to know the intimacy of a person. Also, I am amazed with collective act of voyeurism that photography stands for.
One day I bought a digital camera, nothing fancy, and started to take photos. And then I discovered that photography is much more than just pressing a button. And the search for the perfect photo a complex dance between the photographer and the subject. Initially I thought that taking photos was a voyeurism behavior, almost demented. I now know that the photographer exposes himself as much as the subject, maybe more. But surely much more than I was ever willing to expose myself....
